Poetry celebrated!

Saturday evening was all about celebrating poetry, at a event in Noa Bakehouse compered by the wonderful Amina Atiq.

A huge thank you to all the poets who took part this year, who kept the audience so moved and entertained. Congratulations to Saoirse, who won compere’s choice with her poem ‘Watermelon’; Stacey who won the poet’s vote with ‘Conversation with a historian’; and Helen who won the audience vote with, ‘The Knight Shift.’
