Director and literary agent at Darley Anderson Children’s Agency, Lydia Silver represents a dynamic and diverse list of writers and illustrators. Her authors have picked up many accolades over the years, including Blackwell’s Book of the Month and the Diverse Book Awards, as well as being shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and the Jhalak Prize. In 2022, Lydia herself was chosen as a Bookseller Rising Star.

Lydia is interested in books for children of all ages, including picture books, chapter books, middle grade and YA, with a particular focus on non-fiction. Local writers who are interested in pitching their ideas/manuscripts, will be able to do so at this years' festival, gaining valuable feedback (and possibly a publishing deal).
