Caroline is the author of bestselling domestic psychological thrillers, such as My Husband’s Lies (2018) and The Stranger Beside Me (2023). She also pens gothic-tinged psychological thrillers under the name C E Rose, including titles such as The House of Hidden Secrets (2021) and The Attic at Wilton Place (2023).

Born in Sheffield, Caroline read law at the University of Manchester. She was a divorce and professional indemnity lawyer, before turning her focus to writing and to bringing up her three daughters. Her short stories and poems have been published in various literary publications and anthologies.
