Unfortunately, the Litfest Team received word from Sophie Hannah yesterday that, due to family circumstances, she has had to cancel her September/October events this year, including the two events she was scheduled for at Manx Litfest.

We understand that this will be a massive disappointment to many, not least because we have been attempting to get Sophie Hannah over for several years now.

Please be assured that refunds are already being processed, and you should receive the full amount back within 2-7 working days.

Sophie has kindly agreed to conduct her Dream Author Masterclass over zoom, at the same time on the same day. You can choose to stay home and join (in your pyjamas if you fancy) or we are also looking into the logistics of streaming it in a Douglas venue. If you are keen to join online but don't have zoom, please let us know and we will let you know where we can accommodate you.
